Outfit of the Week #3 Pretty Green Special!

Well, it’s finally arrived and we couldn’t be more excited about it. That’s right people, Pretty Green is now sat shoulder to shoulder with the rest of Red Square’s top notch brands. And to celebrate this fact we have dedicated our entire Outfit of the Week to this amazing new brand!

To begin, I shall wet your blogging appetites with a brief run down of the individual Pretty Green garments we have in store and on our website, (www.redsquareclothing.co.uk).

The Monkey Jacket, retailing at £124.99, is composed of the highest quality shower resistant cotton and nylon. It is light weight and has engraved Pretty Green buttons. This style of jacket is a complete design classic which has been around for decades, however, it has been brought right upto date for the 21st century Mod!

The Pretty Green T Shirt, retailing at £39.99, is probably the most iconic garment of Liam’s current range. This simplistic T Shirt made from 100% Egyptian cotton and emplazoned with the screen printed Pretty Green logo was the very first garment to be seen worn by the man himself. He was often seen sporting the tee in different colours on Oasis’s last world tour.

The Pretty Green Crew Neck Knit Jumper, retailing at £94.99, is possibly the most luxurious garment of all! According to the actual Pretty Green website, it is made from “the best cotton in the world” (Sea Island Cotton), and who are we to argue with such a statement.

Finally, the Pretty Green Polka Dot Scarf, retailing at £54.99, is the stand out piece which says that this brand has been manufactured by Mr. Liam Gallagher himself. Even before Liam lovers everywhere had even heard of Pretty Green Liam was well into his scarfs, on and off stage. The Pretty Green website states that it is made of 100% cotton by the finest scarf makers in Italy and has an unfinished hem “giving it a vintage rock and roll feel”.

So there you go, a brief run down and explanation of the Pretty Green garments in Red Square. All thats left to do now is leave you with a few words from everyone’s favourite Manc…..

“Just gonna do clothes I like, if people like it cool, if they dont they dont!”

Ya know what Liam, we do like it!

Brand New Outfit of the Week!

This week the lads at Red Square have put together an outfit of all new Autumn/Winter ‘09 gear for your satisfaction. We thought it would be a good idea to let you lot see the great selection of garments we have to offer in one amazing outfit!
So, to kick things off, our model is wearing the Bailo Sequoia 1 Jacket over a red checked Edwin Shin L/Sleeved Shirt. The Bailo jacket has a double zip fastening front with a black leather Bailo zipper and two concealed pockets at the centre of the chest. It also has a velcro hood concealer option which means its ideal for sunnier days or rainy Saturday afternoons under those terraces. The Edwin shirt is also ideal for either dressing up or down and is made from 100% pure heringbone cotton.
The Roper pants are Carhartt’s way of paying homage to their own work wear history. They are a part of the ‘Heritage’ collection out this Autumn/Winter. So, we decided to pay homage to the homage by putting our model in a pair, and doesn’t he look smart!
To finish off the outfit we went for a pair of dark grey New Balance 574’s. The 574’s were created in the mid 90’s as a more accessible derivative version of the 576’s.
So there it is, Red Square’s Outfit of the Week, and as you might imagine there’ll be another one next Friday. So until then, why not check out our twitter and facebook pages for more style news on Teesside’s most stylish retailer.
