New A/W 2010 Fila Vintage: An Italian Classic!

This A/W sees the arrival of Fila Vintage, once more, to Red Square. It has only been in the store a matter of days and is already flying off the shelves! This brand, along with its sister range, Fila Gold, has proven to be a massive success over the past few years, with no sign of slowing down just yet.

The resurgence of casual culture and a general desire for classic, retro designs throughout the market, between both young and old(er) men alike, can be attributed to this factor. Therefore, Fila has once more found its foothold in an ever increasingly crowded clothing market and offers a somewhat exasperated generation something quite different, whilst at the same time being entirely retro, to the same old here today, gone tomorrow high street fashion trends.

All the classics are back this season too, such as the Matchday jackets, the Terrinda’s, the Dordoni jackets, the Brake jackets and many, many more, too many to mention, so pop into the Fila Vintage section of the site to take a look.

We are glad to announce that Ben Sherman Modern Classics has just touched down in store and will be appearing online by the end of the week.

The collection takes inspiration from traditional styles, reworking them with contemporary detailing and in modern fabrications. The pieces represent the essential items that we believe no man should be without. From the traditional cagoule to Breton knits and tees, polo’s and the humble bobble hat, each and every piece has been crafted and finished with impeccable attention to detail.

The range retains some of the brands signature detailing though button-downs on collars, traditional tailoring details and tabbed pockets.

This week at Red Square Clothing has seen the arrival of the new Stussy A/W 2010 collection, the undisputed kings of streetwear are back with an ever impressive range of eyecatching, graphic T-Shirts designed by the industrys finest artists.

One artists designs that stand out are Kostas Seremetis, he has teamed up with stussy to produce a series of T-Shirts which include the brilliant Kostas Detective T-Shirt and the Kostas Bite T-Shirt which both contain the artists unique signature lightening bolt stamp on the lower back.

Continuing with the T-Shirt range we have many more bright, bold and top quality garments on offer such as 3 different colourways in the Camo T-Shirt, the electric Cheetah T-Shirt and what has to be our favourate…the Yates Cop T-Shirt.

Coming Soon – Pretty Green Desert Boots!

For months now we have read blogs & news items, been fed snippets of information and had the occasional glimpse of an image regarding the Pretty Green x Clark’s footwear collaboration. However, the long and arduous wait is almost at its end as the Pretty Green desert boots are now within touching distance!

That’s right, coming very soon to Red Square are possibly the most discussed and debated items of footwear in recent years.

So, as you may or may not already know Liam and Pretty Green have collaborated with Clark’s on the iconic desert boots. The Pretty Green version however, has been slightly modified by Mr Gallagher himself to suit his own, very stylish, tastes. He has lowered the heel; it is now not so chunky and made the toe slightly rounder giving the boot an overall slimmer and sleeker appearance.

The boots come in four different colour-ways; brown, black, green and champagne (off white). Each pair will also have a tonal, suede logo tag, very smart indeed.

Pointer X Anderson Belts

Take a butchers at these little beauties! Entirely exclusive & totally limited edition, the Pointer x Anderson’s belt collaboration for A/W 2010 is truly inspiring.

As you know, here at Red Square we love Pointer and have been a vocal advocate of theirs for some time now. However, the current collaboration with Anderson’s, one of the world’s premium belt manufacturers, has taken their status up a few notches.

In case you’re not too familiar with Anderson’s; let us briefly fill you in. Originating from Italy Anderson’s have been producing some of the world’s best and most sought after belts since 1966. They’re reputation for quality is not groundless either as their entire production takes place in their laboratories, based in Parma, and with every individual product overseen and hand finished by one of their expert craftsmen.

At Red Square, we have managed to get two different styles of these unique belts in-store and on-line for your satisfaction. We have the black and yellow woven belt and the multi coloured woven belt both for your approval. Each style is embossed with the Pointer logo and the buckle is finished and polished by hand.

Summer 2010’s Awesome Attractions

The summer of 2010 is hastily turning into an absolute classic, one to remember for some time to come in fact. But how is it different from any other summer, I hear you cry, well for starters its FIFA World Cup time again and South Africa is proving to be a sensational venue due to its colourful African spirit and the distinct blare of the vuvuzela (however annoying they have proved to be). But that’s not all folks, oh no, Wimbledon is back and the hopes of a nation rest on one man’s shoulders… even if he is Scottish! However, we’re not finished yet. Glastonbury is back too with some big names like Muse, Snoop Dog, Gorillaz and literally hundreds more. Now you’d be forgiven for thinking this was enough and usually it would be but this year Britain is experiencing something rather unusual, something called… the SUN! Oh yes, 2010 is actually providing some decent beer garden weather.

All of this great sport, music and weather is lacking something though, something which will make you stand out from the crowd whilst sitting in a beer watching England win the World Cup or in a field watching Snoop Dog (of all people) mash it up on the pyramid stage. That’s right, some decent clobber from Red Square. So here are a few suggestions to get you thinking.

How about the brand new Pretty Green pique polo’s in turquoise, candy, lilac or powder blue. Very summery!
