New Balance
For over one hundred years New Balance has been making trainers and sneakers of the highest quality and in particular running shoes for both amateur and professional athletes. Founded in the American East Coast city of Boston, the company initially produced inner soles and arches for existing shoes and sneakers so as to improve the comfort and posture, hence the name; New Balance.
It was not until the nineteen sixties that the company first started to produce New Balance Trainers specifically for the athletics market. They created sneakers of varying width and a special sole that gave the wearer additional grip. They quickly became popular amongst professional athletes who wanted to improve their performances.
In recent years New Balance has become a fashion brand in its own right with their footwear looking great when coupled with jeans, chinos or shorts.
Red Square's current collection of New Balance trainers is wide and varied, which includes popular styles such as the 574, 576, 577 and the U420.
