Cheap Monday Brand Profile

Since 2004 the ultra-cool Swedish denim brand, Cheap Monday, has been rapidly growing into one of the industry’s leading players.  Initially their trademark tight denim and skull logo were only seen on young, trendy Stockholmers, however, the Cheap Monday brand has become increasingly recognisable on the streets of many European cities, including the UK.
 

2005 saw a full scale collection and expansion into other territories, whilst in 2008 Cheap Monday joined forces with H&M and in 2009 the very first Cheap Monday store opened in Copenhagen. Today, Cheap Monday is found in over 35 countries and about 1800 stores worldwide, including Red Square!
 

Indeed, this is impressive stuff. However, despite a quick growth the folks at Cheap Monday still stay true to their original ethos of providing garments which compete with ‘high end’ fashion, in terms of attitude style and quality, whilst still offering all of this at extremely good prices. Now, that’s what a proper apparel brand should be doing in the 21st century.
