Silas almost needs no introduction. However, after securing cult, and then legendary, status, first in Britain and then the rest of the world, Silas became one of the big boys. Since 1998 Silas has consistently challenged the street-wear scene by focusing on creativity as their main driving force. This has stood the brand in good stead, especially at a time when a lot of their contemporary’s had gone off the boil.
 

As many of you will know Silas was born in London in 1998 by Russell Waterman and Sophia M. Prantera. Yet, in 2007 Silas closed down its UK and European operations and focused, solely, on the Japanese market, where they had become a phenomenon with the young Japanese population who were massively into their threads.
So, for the past few years Japan has been the only territory able to sample Silas’ awesome wears. But now Silas is back! And it’s not before too long either as we have sorely missed the Silas way of life in these parts.
